    Fertility Machine                                                                                            2019-2021

    Board Game, Installation, Illustration

In too many parts of the world, the role of women has been objectified as a fertility machine. This project reflects the “Handmaid’s Tale” in the real world. In the form of a game device, each participant acts as a first-person "handmaid", hoping that people can see more value in women, rather than just childbearing.

    [The Fertility Machine]

The machine is a symbol of the handmaid's primary function, as if the machine had no other right than to procreate, namely to extract the doll. In the last level of The Handmaid's Monopoly, the handmaid has the opportunity to use the doll clip machine to clip out the "girl doll" to win the game directly. In this game, however, none of the players who played the handmaid knew that there were only “boy dolls” in the machine.
